Hamble Shore on Monday afternoon, looking back. I'm going in the other direction. Maybe I should have been looking that way. Then I might not have tripped over a tree root grazing my knee and nose, diving into the undergrowth.
Hamble Shore on Monday's walk. It's beginning to look as if the sun might come out. I'm taking the path through the woods above the shore on my way to the country park.
Hamble Quay on Monday and time for refreshments and a chat with some people (and a dog) that I often meet here.
Mansbridge on the river Itchen, Southampton. This narrow bridge on a bend used to be a notorious bottleneck on the A27 South Coast Trunk Road. (Younger listeners may need to google that).

Well I timed my lunchtime perfectly , clear when I went out, back for about 5min and the torrential shower just started.
I took a walk on Mt. Tengu, a sightseeing spot in Otaru City.
One thing I definitely miss from living in is actually being able to access so much without a car. I love being able to everywhere or use !!

Had to run errands this morning while the carer was here so detoured the Bar Beach on the way for a lovely little walk and a paddle.
Have been enjoying this new series on SBS - the first walk to Point Nepean is a great mix of scenery and history.
