The hoo-man tonight said, as he got out that plastic bag, you know the drill:
"Good girl, what a healthy poop" - and then looked very embarrassed...
Beach with the tracks from my little walk.
Can feel the water surging round my ankles just watching this.
And there was someone of a paddleboard rather than a surfboard too.
Wasn't just surfers out at the beach this morning: airforce jets.
Lovely limpets.
Had to run errands this morning while the carer was here so detoured the Bar Beach on the way for a lovely little walk and a paddle.
Have been enjoying this new series on SBS - the first walk to Point Nepean is a great mix of scenery and history.

It was a good work out because the route goes down and back up the steep valley sides of the Monsal Trail twice, but it was a lovely day!
is looking very green at the moment, here are a few I took.
Walking along the Hamble Rail Trail footpath on my way to Hamble station at the end of Thursday's walk. There are still sections of track including this set of points hidden in the undergrowth.
Still rather grey as I walk along Hamble Shore on Thursday afternoon. The sun came out as I arrived at the country park.
Hamble Quay on Thursday afternoon. A break to finish my drink and a chance to make a fuss of a dog I sometimes meet here. A chat with her human too.
Arriving in Hamble on Thursday afternoon. A cloudy day so far but a lot of people enjoying the river.
Strawberry Field (Warsash) on Thursday's walk. I'll take a break by the river before catching the ferry to Hamble.
What a difference. Sarisbury Green, very green today and very brown last August.

Walking along the wall at Hamble oil terminal on Tuesday afternoon. At high tide the water comes right up to the section ahead. On my way to the country park.
The path above Hamble Shore from Hamble Point (in the distance). Avoids the beach at high tide but can be very wet at times.
High tide on Hamble Common on Tuesday afternoon. Not high enough to reach the path, so dry feet all the way.
Sitting for a while at Hamble Quay on Tuesday. Pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze.
