The wind direction on Monday meant it was sheltered along Hamble Shore. Good for walking. More often the not the wind here is in my face and from the north.
Spot the odd one out on Hamble Shore on Monday afternoon. The winter visitors are beginning to arrive. The crows are here all year.
Across Hamble Common to Hamble Point on Monday afternoon. The cattle will soon be leaving us for the winter. It looks like they're ready to go.
A cold wind coming across the river at Hamble Quay on Monday. Sat for a while with a coffee but moved on as soon as it was finished.
Walk Some brightness over Itchen Bridge on Monday morning. Walking to Hamble and the country park. Occasional glimpses of the sun through the clouds but generally a cloudy day with a chilly breeze, particularly by the river Hamble.
Last of the purple heather today on my walk: Erica tetralix or cross-leaved heath. More:

with a on a . 30k , 12k , the latter with 5413f / 1650m climb, and the same descend. All in the dark.
Guess could do an easier route to get some kilometers done with walking.
mit Aufstieg auf 'nen . 30k , 12k , mit 1650m Aufstieg und ebenso vielen meters Abstieg.
Knnte wohl eine einfachere Strecke whlen, um einige Kilometer in die Beine zu kriegen.

Quick park walk this morning before heading out to bring mum's hairdresser out to our place (she can't drive for health reasons at the moment). Already getting warm so sticking to the shadier sections.
Our walks are getting dark.
The earliest we go is 7PM. We only push later during the Spring and early Summer to adjust for the sunset time. So itll only get darker for us, until 7PM is just night time.

The bit I went on - next to the park - was pretty nice

It was weird to see one. First because they are becoming rarer and second because they are nocturnal animals.
