Out for a along the north/west side of Lake Natoma. About 6 miles trying to locate every place I might launch or recover a kayak. I've been told there are only two places. I found 17. And I still have to check out the other side of the lake!
The difference is I don't plan to use a car. There are a few crazy people that tether a kayak to a bicycle, and there are a few crazy people who carry a bicycle on their kayak. I intend to be both kinds of crazy.

i wandered onto the campus and walked through the meadows, and then found the nature trails and eventually the . it was a lovely walk, and i was pleasantly surprised to see a fair amount of people out and about. cyclists and pedestrians, young and old. i love that this is all within walking distance for me.
this also makes me want a even more. the greenway is like, right there!

Made my usual stop at the bridge. Managed a few brief moments of serenity watching the reflections between bouts of a power tool screaming in the near distance.
Park walk today while the sun was shining. Little local library gardens were so vivid. Made me happy.
